Wage arrears amounted to 999 million

As of June 1, wage arrears decreased by 0.9% compared to May 1 to 999,275,000 UAH.

This is stated in the statement by the State Statistics Service.

The largest wage arrears, as of June 1, were recorded in Donetsk region – 109,561,000 UAH, Kyiv region – 131,893,000 UAH, and Kharkiv region – 120,217,000 UAH.

In May, arrears of salary from the state and local budgets increased 14.1 times compared to April, amounting as of June 1, 2014 to 2,769,000 UAH.

Arrears from the state budget amounted to 2,769,000 UAH.

It was reported that as of May 1, wage arrears decreased by 10.4% compared to April 1 to 1.008 billion hryvnia.
