The head coach of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Vyacheslav Grozny, after the away match of the championship of Ukraine in Luhansk with "Zorya", once again spoke about the situation in the country.
"There is an aspect more important than football. It is life! I want peace for our country. Does it matter what language people speak? I worked in Bulgaria, learned Bulgarian there, because I had to communicate with your Bulgarian colleagues live. I have to hear what players say, give instructions.
Language should unite rather than divide people. Politics should not be over people. We arrived in Luhansk – everything is calm and fine here. Certain people involved in geopolitics want to create troubles in our country. But everything will be fine no matter what, because we want to work, we want a good life for our families.
They say that football is above politics, but we, in our country, play for you, for our fans. Regardless of skin color, language or religion. For our country, we are trying to do our job as professionally as possible," – Grozny said.
