The head coach of Uzhgorod "Goverla" Vyacheslav Grozny responded to critics of Ukraine’s national team for "conservative football" in March friendly matches.
– It is important that our team won both matches in March. You have to play, first of all, so that the opponent does not feel comfortable. And "conservative football" is a journalistic cliche. Our team has its own game that gives results! And if this, as they say, "conservative" football brings a result, I don’t mind. The national team of Greece with such so-called "conservative football" became the European champion. I wouldn’t mind if Ukraine’s team follows this path – the coach said at the "Football 1" TV channel.
