Uzhgorod city election commission re-approved the election results to Uzhgorod city council. During two days – 11 and 12 of November – the DEC, pursuant to decisions of courts, re-counted the votes on the basis of polling station protocols and established new results.
Recall that on 5 and 6 of November, the Transcarpathian District Administrative Court canceled the protocol of the election results to Uzhgorod city council under the suit of representatives of the parties "Patriot" and the "European Party of Ukraine." Later, the protocol was canceled for the third time under the suite of a representative of the party "Hromadyanska Pozytsiya". Later, this ruling was upheld by the Lviv Administrative Court of Appeal.
All the plaintiffs proved in court that the final resuts in the protocols of polling stations did not match the figures of the final protocol of the City Election Commission on the results of voting for the party "Nash Krai" and "Opposition bloc".
As a result of the recount, this information was confirmed. The TEC began the recount on November 11 and on November 12 – around 22.30 – approved the new results.
After the recount the number of votes for the "Opposition block" and for "Nash Krai" has changed. Thus, the number of votes for the "Opposition bloc" has increased by 513 (1,678), for the "Nash Krai" – has decreased by the same amount (3,119). Thus, the "Opposition bloc" scored 3.4%, and the "Nash Krai" – 6.4%.
As a result, according to the final results, the "Nash Krai" received not four but three seats in Uzhgorod city council.
The "free" mandate went to the party "Patriot" that won 9.5% of votes. "New" deputy mandate will be given to Valery Babydorych from the party "Patriot", and thus this party will have 5 members in the Council.
The number of votes for other parties and, accordingly, the number of their representatives has not changed.
