Citizens of Uzhgorod city and Uzhgorod district naturally want to know whether there are going to be new water supply interruptions. Because, despite the promise to resume the water supply on Saturday from 18.00 to 20.00, people were waiting in vain: water supply was resumed only after 21.00.
Now, the information is as follows. Employees of Uzhgorod Vodokanal mounted an additional, back-up sewer collector line, bypassing the damaged section of the main line in Solyany lane. That’s why, water supply was resumed after 21.00.
The additional line will be functioning in emergency mode until a new line of the collector is laid to replace the damaged one, No water supply interruptions are currently planned.
