The administration of the Vodokanal of Uzhgorod reported that during the inventory of meters in residential houses it turned out that a large number of meters is sealed with outdated lead seals models that the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" has not been using since 2008.
Water meters since then have only been sealed with plastic colored numbered seals. Therefore all consumers, who have lead seals on their meters, are asked to facilitate the replacement of such seals and provide access for representatives of the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" to perform equipment inspection and replacement of seals.
The Vodokanal also notes that any offers from third parties regarding sealing / replacement of old lead seal are unlawful.
Metering devices sealed with such seals will not be accepted by the company.
