The 5th international festival "Music Without Borders" successfully took place in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. But music fans are already invited to other interesting artistic events.
In particular, on May 4, our talented young musicians – the Symphony Orchestra of Uzhgorod State Music College – will perform on the main stage of the region.
The students are preparing for the audience for a very serious program: Bach’s symphonic overture "Egmont", Offenbach’s Overture to "Orpheus in Hell", Sarasate’s "Gypsy tunes", Skoryk’s "Melody", Piazzolla’s "Libertango", Strauss’s waltz "Tales from the Vienna Woods", music from other famous operas and movies. Soloists – Nicoletta Hertsak (soprano) and Gábor Kovács (violin). The program is titled "Viva, students!". The orchectra, which has been a winner of international competitions, is headed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchyk-Tsanko.
