The work on removing garbage from the Vilshany reservoir, which is located on the border of Khust and Mizhhirya districts, and the adjacent territories has begun.
Rescuers together with water managers, workers of the power company (that owns the facility), ecologists, foresters, the National Guard and workers of the communal enterprise "Vody Khustschiny" are cleaning the territory of the reservoir from plastic and household waste.
In total, 10 rescuers and special equipment from the regional office of the State Emergencies Service are engaged, in particular: 4 officers of Khust diving rescue squad of the Special Emergency and Rescue Detachment with two boats and 6 rescuers from Mizhhirya.
