Vietnamese illegal migrants were hiding in the house of a resident of Perechyn

The Chop border guard detachment informed about the detention of a group of illegal migrants.

Thirteen illegal migrants were found today by operatives from the Western Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service and the Chop border guard detachment together with the employees of the Transcarpathian Internal Security Department of the National Police.

The foreigners, who were being prepared for illegal transportation across the state border, were found during the check of the operational information from the military. The group of Orientals were detained by operatives and the "Novoselytsia" department response unit right in the private home of a resident of Perechyn, in Transcarpathia. The detainees, supposedly Vietnamese citizens, did not have any documents on them.

The investigative group was called at the scene. The measures to document the criminal activity are being taken. At the same time, law enforcement officers are taking measures to identify the persons involved in the organization of illegal transportation of persons across the border.
