Victoria Gres will show in Uzhgorod her new autumn collection “LIBERTANGO”

A press conference of Victoria Gres, who is one of the most successful designers in Ukraine, took place in Uzhgorod Press Club. On September 23, at 19.00, the presentation of the new autumn collection "Libertango" will take place in Uzhgorod. Every show of Victoria is a significant event for Transcarpathia, but this one should be special. The director Oleksiy Zalevsky, who has been collaborating with Victoria Gres for many years, promises an unforgettable evening and a lot of new experiences.

            Victoria Gres says that Uzhgorod is an unusual city to live in. "I will probably return to Uzhgorod, I have a house here, I would love to live in Uzhgorod. Little towns are the best for it. Uzhgorod differs from the province in Ukraine. People can live for themselves, and it is similar to art. It is much more comfortable to live here, because big cities are not for life, they are for business, – V. Gres said about Uzhgorod. – Probably, it is better to live in a big city until 30 years of age, and then move to where life is more comfortable."

 Professional models from Kyiv will take part in the show. "There are very beautiful and professional models in Ukraine. I want Uzhgorod girls to see how high-level professionals work. We want to play the "emotional card", because we work for our clients, preparing an interesting show for them," – V. Gres said. The event will be held in the complex "Ungvarsky."

Fashion house Victoria Gres today includes three huge studios, which are managed by the designer personally. The studio in Uzhgorod was opened in 1992, it was the beginning of Victoria’s career in the fashion business. And it still plays a very important role in the fashion house life – all new collections are traditionally made in Uzhgorod.

20 years after the very first show in her life, the designer again gives the city the opportunity to be the first to see her new autumn collection "LIBERTANGO". Every show of Victoria is a significant event for Transcarpathia, and the designer decided to make such shows traditional as a gift to her favorite city.
