The politician Victor Baloha believes that now, on the Maidan they need to establish a united Council and non-political government. He wrote that in his facebook.
"We can create any number of different councils or committees and clone non-governmental organizations. Maybe for somebody it is important to play a leader. But this does not solve the main issue – who makes decisions and who is responsible for them. I am sure that what we need now is a single structure to start working as soon as possible. The work of this Council (People, central or otherwise) should follow the format of parliament. That is to pass resolutions, binding for the Euromaidan, political forces and their factions in local councils. To assign
tasks, to hear reports, to negotiate with the government and the EU.
And most importantly, to form a transitional non-political government. Later – to develop the program of changes in the country, which a single opposition candidate would commit to perform.
Such a body should include: the initiative "First of December", the leaders of the Maidan, experts and representatives of the clergy, NGOs, diplomats and rectors, delegates from the three opposition parties. At least half of the delegates shall be nominated in the regions and approved by the Euromaidan.
Now it is important to understand that people came to the Maidan not for political "showdown" and not for party leaders. They want only one thing – a European future for their country and new standards of living. And for this important goal, we need to go against our ambitions and not to substitute a real fight with declarations and resolutions," – the politician said.
