As we reported, yesterday, in the parking lot of the TC Arcadia, at Dniprovska Embankment, 33 (Darnytskyi district), police officers found in a car trunk 6.5 kg of plastid explosives and 10 detonators.
Both citizens were arrested under article 208 of the CCP.
The investigators believe that this group was preparing to commit a terrorist act in the capital of Ukraine.
As it turned out later, both passengers were from Mukachevo.
People’s Deputy of Ukraine Victor Baloha commented on the situation:
"According to my information, the persons detained in Kyiv with explosives are indeed residents of Mukachevo. One of them is Yevhen Honcharenko, the other one, as I was told, is called "Marchi". Both are members of the band group of people’s deputy Mykhailo Lanyo and his assistant – Artur Pashkulyak.
I do not know who made these young, stupid guys to carry plastids in the trunk, but, I think, they will not stay in jail for long. Because Mykhailo Lanyo is a member of the group "Vidrodzhennya" in the Verkhovna Rada, which gives votes for important decisions. The Governor Moskal in the Transcarpathian Regional Council also uses the services of the "Vidrodzhennya", which is fully controlled by Lanyо.
So the law enforcement agencies will have to make a tough choice between the law and the interests of the government."
