Vice President of “Goverla” Shufrich: making money on football is a dream

The Vice President of FC Goverla Oleksandr Shufrich spoke about certification problems in the Transcarpathian club.

He said that the team always solved its problems.

"At the stage of certification, Goverla always has many problems, but ultimately we find answers to all questions. We always solve all our problems. Last year, around the same time, there were similar news, but we had solved all the issues by the deadline and started the new season. It must be admitted that due to the political and economic situation, we have not yet solved some issues. Ukraine gradually gets to its feet, and so does football.

With regard to the possible format of the new season, all are talking in questions – no one knows the answers. We need to keep the championship in the current format. I think they need to make the requirements for the teams of the Premier League less strict.   Let’s take such good teams as Oleksandria, Zirka, Bukovina. They need to help teams, not vice versa" – football.ua quoted Shufrich.

Also the vice president of Goverla spoke about financial fair play.

"Making money on football is the dream of every team manager. It’s too early to talk about the self-sufficiency of Goverla, because our region is difficult, there is no large audience, there are few investors. It will be hard for us to comply with the financial fair play, but I think that teams, which are not top champions, should have some concessions. What we can do is to pay salaries in full," – he said.
