As of April 22, 2013, the disposal of dead cattle (cows) near the village of Chikosh-Horonda in Beregovo district is completed. The site of disposal has been disinfected with caustic soda followed by chlorination.
Samples of tissue have been taken and sent to Transcarpathian regional state veterinary laboratory for analysis for anthrax.
According to the results of the examination by the Transcarpathian Regional State Veterinary Laboratory on 22.04.2013, anthrax pathogen has not been found.
