Vehicles imported to Transcarpathia in January in “transit” mode are now wanted

In January, about 1,200 cars were imported to Transcarpathia daily in "transit" mode.

These statistics were released by the Transcarpathian customs office.

It is interesting that there are also about 800 cases of failure to export such vehicles within the period set by the Customs Code of Ukraine.

Customs officers say that such violations of the duration of stay of foreign registered vehicles are becoming more common every year.

– Most of these cars have not been exported from the customs territory of Ukraine in time due to force majeure, including, road accidents, vehicle breakdowns, illness of the owner of the car, the destruction of vehicles during shelling in the ​​ATO area, etc, as evidenced by numerous appeals to the Transcarpathian customs office from citizens who are unable to complete the transit of imported vehicles in due time – the customs officers tell.

Of course, now all those cars are wanted.
