The head of the Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal, during his working visit to Tyachiv district, together with veterans, district officials and public, took part in events to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Transcarpathia and Ukraine from fascist invaders.
During the Memory Relay, he laid flowers at the monument to the hero Stepan Wajda and the obelisk to soldiers-liberators in Tyachiv city park. He also visited the site, where the memorial stand with photographs of the Heroes of the Heaven’s Hundred is installed and the monument to Heroes of the Maidan will be erected soon.
