Valentine & Valentina SHTEFANYO pastry shop on Petofi Square in Uzhgorod has its own sakura. A chocolate one, called "Four Seasons", so it will be updated every season.
Valentin Shtefanyo’s first original sakura was put up for auction to support ceramist Tanya Litus, who is battling a serious illness. The auction was held in December, and the chocolate tree was purchased by artist Volodymyr Pavlyshyn for over six thousand hryvnias, – the Varosh writes.
Subsequently, Valentin came up with the idea to create a similar sakura for the pastry shop on Petofi Square. Slim, but sturdy, it weighs about 8 kg. Its trunk is made of black chocolate and the stylized leaves are made of white chocolate. In winter, the sakura is covered with snow, so it has the thematic name "Snow-covered sakura". Deer-drawn red sleds with gifts – also made of chocolate – decorate the tree.
In the spring, the Japanese cherry will become green with contrasting pale pink buds, in the summer it will be pink, and autumn will color it in golden and purple tint.
The confectioner is already thinking about the idea for Valentine’s Day, he plans to make a caramel sculpture.
