Uzhgorod National University was one of 100 Ukrainian and foreign universities and educational organizations in the world who participated in the XXVI International Exhibition "Education and Career – Student Day 2014", which took place in Kyiv from 13 to 15 of November.
Today, the exhibition is the largest event in Ukraine dedicated to higher education in our country and abroad, allowing all comers to get information directly from representatives of universities, the Chas Zakarpattya explains.
The exhibition program includes seminars and round tables on the subject of international cooperation in education and introduction of modern technology, there are presentations of national and international universities, youth programs, student exchange programs.
Traditionally, the organizers arrange a competition for higher education institutions – participants of the exhibition "Education and Career – 2014", following which winners are awarded Grand Prix, gold, silver and bronze medals in different categories.
This year, UzhNU took part in the competition and won the highest award – the Grand Prix in the category "Publishing of textbooks of the new generation." The Education and Research Institute of ICT presented the honorable members of the jury the technique of creating electronic learning multimedia materials and examples of finished products – e-books.
