Abandoned small garden between the building of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and the administration building of UzhNU (formerly, the building of the Faculty of Economics) will have a new life. According to the decision of the Uzhgorod City Council – in response to the request of the University – the parterre square will be granted to Uzhgorod National University. To take into account all the proposals of the public and professionals and to determine the best among them, the Rector of UzhNU Fedir Vashchuk announced a competition for the project of the park arrangement. The winner will receive a fair financial reward.
They have already appointed a committee to review projects, which includes scientists of UzhNU, representatives of the municipality, student government and journalists who will determine the best project, the site of UzhNU informed.
The contest will run until September 1. Proposals should be sent to: Administration of Uzhgorod National University, Narodna sq,, 3, Uzhgorod 88000.
