September 16, secondary school №20 in Uzhhorod opened a swimming pool. After twenty years of operation it needed repairs. The school principal even in 2013 turned to City Council with a request to restore the pool. The issuewas considered for two years, and in July 2015 the school began repair works.
Overall cost of pool repair was 1 million and 26 thousand. In addition to the pools, auxiliary facilities and showers were renovated, ventilation and heating systems were changed. In the nearest future they promises to bring the clearing system into order, which is in the basement.Swimming pool of School №20 is the only in Uzhgorod which is suitable for children up to 14, so students of other schools may come here for swimming lessons.
