Today (August 7, 2017), at 16.00. the opening of the exhibition of painting by Oleksandr Baloh will be held in the Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Rural Life.
In August, the artist will celebrate the 70th anniversary. The author chose the Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Rural Life for the exhibition, since he was working at the museum more than 25 years as an artist-restorer, giving the old exhibits a second life.
He was born on August 13, 1947, in the village of Velyki Heyivtsi, Uzhgorod district.
In 1965, he graduated from the Uzhgorod secondary school №10.
After serving in the army, he worked at various factories in Uzhgorod, where he was engaged in the production of artistic products.
In 1977 – married Yelizaveta Feyesh, with whom he has raised two daughters: Beatrice and Ildyka.
1986 – 2012 – worked at the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life as an artist-restorer.
He has participated in art exhibitions with other colleagues, including four personal exhibitions of his own artistic works.
