Uzhgorod will host the UzhGreenFest youth festival (ANNOUNCEMENT)

This Friday, UzhGreenFest will take place in Uzhgorod! 
On Friday, August 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the UzhGreenFest youth festival will take place in the Pidzamkovy Park in Uzhgorod – with the support of the Active Citizens program from the British Council in Ukraine, the NGO "Youth Platform", the Department of Youth Culture and Sports of the Uzhgorod City Council. 
During the discussion with the city officials "Communicate and act" on the environmental situation and active youth recreation in Uzhgorod, the participants will present to the city authorities an eco-manifesto prepared on the basis of observations and discussions. 
There will be thematic locations: "Respect nature", "Prepare to travel", "Appreciate trees" (in English), "Sustainable hospitality: we consume local products", etc., environmental activists, including representatives of the NGO "Green City", will be speaking at the event. 
The festival will take place outdoor, in compliance with anti-epidemiological and social distancing requirements.
