At the regular session of Uzhgorod city council, members plan to give consent for the municipal enterprise "Production department of water supply and sewerage of Uzhgorod" to start collaboration with the European Investment Bank to prepare for implementation of the projects "Reconstruction of sewer treatment plants of Uzhgorod", "Reconstruction of the water intake "Mynai", "Reconstruction of the city water supply system with prospective discontinuation of surface water intake use."
Under cooperation with the bank, the city applies for a loan to upgrade the water utility for 30 years with an interest rate of 0.37% per annum.
