As reported at the meeting of the Executive Committee, considering the "terrace" draft decisions – regarding permits for placement of terraces, now many entrepreneurs themselves hasten to apply for legalization of their facilities.

As it turns out, a lot of Uzhgorod terraces, that were opened long time ago, had no permits for this year and thus the owners did not pay taxes to the budget.
Businessmen were forced to take care about permits by raids of the municipal police and regular fines amounting to about 1700 UAH. Now entrepreneurs themselves want to "play by the rules" and apply to the Executive Committee for permits.
Municipal services are now having trouble with bringing the claimed size of the terraces to the actual one. Because owners often go outside the perimeter – for example, having a permit for 12 square meters, they occupy as many as twenty…
