The candidates were presented by the head of Uzhgorod city organization of the party "Solidarnist" – Bloc of Petro Poroshenko" Robert Horvat. He said that they had been working on the formation of the team long and carefully.
He also introduced the man who will head this team – a candidate for the mayor of Uzhgorod, director of the "Uzhgorod Turbogaz" JSC Mykhailo Kachur. He noted that there were were two main factors in making the decision to run for the mayor. The first is that the city needs urgent development. For many years, it has not been moving forward. The second is the team with which he can work for the benefit of Uzhgorod. "There many problems in the city that affect each of us. Currently, there is no strategy of the city development. Uzhgorod must develop. The city should have a perspective and move forward. I am convinced that with this team, Uzhgorod residents for the first time will be able to choose the best, rather than the worst of the worst, as it was before" – Mykhailo Kachur.
During the presentation, the head of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the party "Solidarnist" – Bloc of Petro Poroshenko" Valeriy Patskan urged all political forces to sign the memorandum of fair elections in Transcarpathia. "The elections must be fair and they must change all the political elite in local, district and regional councils. So that whoever is running be aware of the responsibility for their actions, for the team" – Valeriy Patskan said.
