Uzhgorod skansen invites to the festival “Christmas in the Old Village”

On January 11, 2020, the museum village will traditionally host caroling groups from all over Transcarpathia.
The festival program:
– 10.30 – 11.30 – Festive service in the 18th century Church of the Archangel Michael.
– 11.45 – 12.00 – Blessing of the festival participants from the rector of the church Fr. Yaroslav.
– 12.00 – Grand opening of the festival and beginning of the performances of caroling groups (performances will take place on the stage and near museum facilities).
On the territory of the museum during the festival:
– Transcarpathian Christmas dishes;
– photographing with carolers;
– fair with products of folk craftsmen of Transcarpathia.
The youngest visitors are invited to participate in caroling in the museum houses from the villages of Dovhe, Bedevlya, Stebny. The friendly hostesses will be waiting for the carolers and giving them treats and museum gifts.
