Today, January 10, Uzhgorod roads were deluged with snow. There are no snow vehicles on the roads of the regional center. In the center of Uzhgorod the situation is especially difficult – not all cars can drive up Kapitulna street. According to our information, taxi drivers refuse to go in the direction of the Uzhgorod castle. Correspondent of "uzhgorod.in" witnessed how some cars when going up Kapitulna street from Dukhnovich street got stuck on the hill and rolled down. As for sidewalks, most businesses, at least in the city center, removed the snow near their shops. In the pedestrian part of the city – Teatralna Square, Korzo street – it can be seen that snow equipment did work there.Meanwhile, traffic jams appear due to the snow on the roads. Even ambulances get in the jams.The department of the city improvement of Uzhgorod City Council assured that snow equipment was on the city streets. However, they advised to refer for detailed comments directly to the management of the Department of Municipal Economy.
