Uzhgorod residents will be told about international cooperation projects and terms of participation in the Creative Europe program

Representatives of the cultural and creative industries of the city of Uzhgorod and Transcarpathian region are invited to participate in the two-hour training on writing applications for the projects from Creative Europe.

The participants will be able to get practical advice on:

– which projects are supported by the CE

– how to get the CE grant support

– how to prepare a successful grant application

– how grant funding works

The training organized in cooperation with the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and the Transcarpathian Regional Organizational and Methodological Culture Center will be held on March 29 at the following address: Uzhgorod, A. Voloshin st., 11 (Uzhgorod Children’s Music School № 1). The beginning is at 11.00.

The Creative Europe program is a framework program of the European Commission aimed at supporting the cultural and creative sectors of Europe. The general objectives of the program are to protect, develop and promote cultural and linguistic diversity and strengthen the competitiveness of the cultural and creative sectors of Europe.

The estimated funding for the program from the EU budget is 1.46 billion euro. The program consists of two subprograms: "Culture" (31% of the program budget) and "Media" (56% of the budget).
