Uzhgorod residents will be riding in buses for 54 million hryvnias – the Mayor

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv told the city residents about a new big purchase:

"Just now, on the online platform for electronic public procurement ProZorrо, there was an auction, at which the Uzhgorod Municipal Transport utility purchased for the city 10 modern low-clearance buses, with Euro-5 environmental standard, with the capacity of 102 passengers, including 30 seats.

Buses are accessible for low-mobility people, equipped with an open ramp for wheelchair passengers, and a special seat in the cabin. An independent suspension ensures smooth running and maneuverability, which is extremely important for the streets of our city. The procurement was preceded by a serious work by the stuff of the Uzhgorod Municipal Transport enterprise. 

The winner was the "Joint Ukrainian-German Enterprise "ELECTRONTRANS" LLC, which will manufacture buses for Uzhgorod in the next months. 

We expect to have new transport on the streets of the regional center of Transcarpathia in August this year. 54 million hryvnias from the city budget is provided for the purchase of the buses.", – the mayor on his facebook wrote.
