As one of the readers of Zakarpattya online reported, residents of Nakhimov and Tymiriazyev streets of the Shakhta neighbourhood in Uzhgorod started patching roads at their houses on their own to protect their cars from premature repairs. It didn’t take a lot to do this: just a few initiative young men with shovels and wheelbarrows and a Geely roller.
"As a fact, I want to mention that these stretches of internal roads in the yard were last covered with asphalt probably during the term of the mayor Stepan Sember who was a resident of this neighbourhood in the late 90s," – a resident of Nakhimov street, who also sent the Zakarpattya online these photos said.
Those people are definitely great. But why then does Uzhgorod need the government that can not do even the simplest and most necessary things for their people?
