The majority of the participants in the public poll do not support the proposed changes in the organization of vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Koryatovych Square in Uzhgorod, the press service of Uzhgorod City Council reported.
The 11th public poll started in Uzhgorod on April 14 and lasted until April 30. The city authorities asked the opinion of the city residents about the expediency of a roundabout on Koryatovych Square.
During the public poll, 636 Uzhgorod residents took part in the discussion. The participants of the poll, answering the question "Do you support changes in the organization of vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Koryatovych Square", could choose only one answer. Thus, 34.1% or 217 Uzhgorod residents supported the changes in the traffic organization scheme on the square, and 65.9% or 419 were against the proposed changes.
