Uzhgorod residents go to Pogorelov less freaquently

During the nine months of this year, Uzhgorod executive committee has received 2526 appeals, which is 321 less than that in the last year. During nine months, the mayor has conducted 6 personal appointments with 195 residents. Most appeals concern repair and reconstruction of houses – 21 appeals, provision of material assistance – 29, sanitary conditions and public welfare, adjacent territories – 11 appeals, operation and maintenance of housing – 12

The Secretary of the Council and Deputy Mayors during this period have received only 33 appeals of the city residents.

The Executive Committee has received 2,255 applications, 265 complaints, 5

proposals. After reviewing, only 467 appeals have been satisfied.

During the nine months, 632 persons have been provided with financial assistance amounting to 88,000 UAH including that from the city budget.

       Also, the number of appeals to higher authorities has decreased, from 366 in the first nine months of 2012 to 303 in the first nine months of 2013. 13 appeals have been received from deputies of Ukraine. Of those, 10 are applications and 3 are complaints. 87 appeals and complaints (51 appeals 36 complaints) have been received through the government’s hotline.

 As in previous years, mostly citizens raised in their appeals issues of municipal and roads economy, housing policy.
