Summer heat inspires Uzhgorod residents. To escape from everyday life, everyone tries to improve their recreation area for a more comfortable stay there.
It is the section of the river Uzh, on Slovyanska embankment.
These photos were taken a few days ago, when Uzhgorod residents informally opened the bathing season (despite the prohibition to swim there).
Other photographs were taken a few days later. They show that people have arranged a space for swimming, enclosing it with stones for the safety of children in the water. A touching initiative, although, it is clear that it is high time to equip a beach for Uzhgorod residents and guests not only in words. So that, regardless of skin color and preferences, they had a place to relax and to hide from heat.
