Uzhgorod residents can see landscapes of the city of at the personal exhibition of Andriy Kuruts

On September 29, 2017, an exhibition of Andriy Kuruts entitled "With Love to the Hometown" took place at the premises of the department of documents in foreign languages of the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library. About thirty works of the Transcarpathian artist were presented at the exhibition. 

The theme of the works presented at the exhibition is landscapes of Uzhgorod. The ancient city on the canvases of the artist was extremely colorful, refined and mysterious. Andriy Kuruts portrayed in the paintings famous and cozy places, streets of the city on the Uzh.  
"The exhibition can be timed to the celebration of the Day of the City. I decided to congratulate my hometown Uzhgorod in this way," – Andriy Kuruts said. 
The landscapes presented at the exhibition are created mainly in mixed techniques – oil, acrylic, tempera. It gives paintings a peculiar depth, and gives colors brightness. The exhibition "With Love to the Hometown" is also interesting because the artist has prepared several new works that have not yet been presented to the public. 

Andriy Kuruts is a unique artist. He belongs to a cohort of artists, who do not have a professional education, he is not a member of any creative union, but this does not stop him from creating and continuously developing. The artist has been painting since childhood and explains it simply: "I paint, because I love it". 

The exhibition will last for at least two weeks.
