Uzhgorod residents can attend free Aikido classes (announcement)

Today, September 4, in Uzhgorod, at the sports society "Dynamo", there will be the opening of the "TENKAN" club of Transcarpathian Regional Aikido Federation "Sinadzho."

"In my life I have seen many dojos. This is how they call a place where people learn the way of Aikido, discipline and enlighten themselves. And I had a dream: to establish such dojo here in Uzhgorod. Thanks especially to my wife Oleksandra, who is a designer, this dream came true. Finally we have a kind of a stylish dojo "TENKAN" that is unique in the whole of Western Ukraine. By the way, the word "tenkan" translated from Japanese means "a turn." This is very symbolic. Firstly, because we really had a turn: in the organization itself, and in its management, and in the building. And, secondly, it is a very important principle in Aikido," – the president of the Transcarpathian Regional Aikido Federation "Sinadzho", 4th dan of Aikido, Yuriy Kedyk said.

The program of the event:

– Press conference;

– Opening ceremony;

– Demonstrations by students and trainers;

– Aikido classes.

Attention! Aikido classes are free. Anyone can attend. Dress code – sweatpants, T-shirt.

Guests:

– Vitaliy Erfan, the head of the Family, Youth and Sports Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration;

– Oleg Murtazin, the Deputy Head of the Family, Youth and Sports Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration;

– Oleksandr Zyma, the commander of the Transcarpathian territorial defense battalion.

The grand opening is at 18.00.
