Uzhgorod residents and guests of the city are invited to a concert dedicated to the Day of the Defender of Ukraine

The Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic together with the brass band invites everyone to join the celebration of the Day of the Defender of Ukraine on October 14 at 6.30 pm. 
In Ukrainian society, this holiday is celebrated on the day of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin, which has long been the protector of the Ukrainian army and the Cossacks. These significant dates symbolize the connection between generations and an ancient historical tradition.

Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sadvariy (vocals) 
Halyna Havrylko (vocals) 
Ivan Varkhol (flute). 
Director – People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak.
