Yesterday, at 11:30 am, the Rescue Service was reported about a fire in a car on Kapushanska street in Uzhgorod. During driving, the driver of a 2005 Porsche Cayenne saw a smoke coming from the under car hood. The woman immediately stopped and called the rescuers.
A few minutes later after receiving the call, firefighters of the 14th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Uzhgorod arrived at the scene. The fire started in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The fire damaged the engine compartment and the paint coating of the car.
10 rescuers and two tankers were employed to put out the fire.
There were no victims. The circumstances and the final cause of the fire are to be established.
