As we reported, tonight in Uzhgorod, an incident with all signs of provocation occurred occurred at the office of the Center for National Minority Cultures.
While the police are establishing the circumstances, the mayor of the regional center of Transcarpathia Bogdan Andriyiv commented on the event:
"This morning, in Uzhgorod, unknown persons threw a bottle of inflammable liquid into the premises of the NGO "Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia". Fortunately, there are no serious damages and victims. I call on law enforcement officers to make every effort to find and identify individuals involved in this incident.
Some people really want to ruin the situation in our multinational and multicultural Uzhgorod. I declare with all responsibility – they will not succeed."
"Uzhgorod has always been and will remain an example of tolerance, discretion and unity!", – the mayor emphasizes.
