Uzhgorod public toilet: knee-deep water, broken walls and stench… (PHOTOS)

The topic of public toilets in Uzhgorod is regularly raised by the media for public discussion. People complain, depate, leave various suggestions – and that’s it.  

The problem remains the same under any government, probably because it is not interesting and not comfortable for the officials. Meanwhile, in the tourist city visited by thousands of guests, the number of toilets can be counted on the fingers of one hand. And those that exist can hardly be called acceptable.

These words can be illustrated with the central toilet near the Pedestrian Bridge, where you can see all the attributes of the shameful state of public toilets in a supposedly European city of Uzhgorod: knee-deep water, broken walls, mold, stench… And the price is three! hryvnias.
