Uzhgorod local prosecutor’s office is preparing a lawsuit to cancel the decisions of the executive committee, according to which two municipal apartments – at 8 Bereznya st., 28/2 and 28/3 – were privatized. Those are appartments on the ground floor of a nine-storey building in former non-residential premises of the MU "Housing Area №5".
This was reported by the acting head of Uzhgorod local prosecutor’s office I.Savko in response to a request regarding the article about non-transparent privatization of the appartments on the Anti-corruption portal.
"It was established that the decisions of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council on the privatization of the apartments №2 and №3 in the house 28 on 8 Bereznya street were adopted illegally. Uzhgorod local prosecutor’s office have prepared draft claims on cancellation of the decisions on the privatization which were sent to the regional prosecutor’s office for approval," – I.Savko wrote in a letter.
