Uzhgorod police found a missing child

Uzhgorod police brought back home an 11-year-old local resident, who had gone out for a walk and did not return. The child was returned home to his parents.

Yesterday, May 15, at 10:10, a 35-year-old resident of Chervone village called to the Uzhgorod police department. The applicant reported that 2 days before her 11-year-old son had gone for walk ago and did not return. He did not have a mobile phone, so the woman could not contact her son.

Officers of the criminal police sector, the juvenile prevention sector and patrol police in the Transcarpathian region started searching for the boy.

In a few hours, the runaway was found by patrol policeman, who spotted him on Mynaiska street. At the moment, the 6-grader is at home with parents. As the police have found out, this was not the first time the boy runs away from home.

The juvenile prevention sector inspectors are counseling the child in order to find out what made him run away and prevent such behavior in the future.
