The anti-trafficking department of Transcarpathian regional police exposed the fact of pandering in Uzhgorod.
Yesterday, February 2, in one of the hotels of the regional center of Transcarpathia, police officers recorded the fact of pandering. In the hotel room, the police officers found and seized 3000 hryvnia received by two women for the provision of sexual services.
A 19-year-old resident of Uzhgorod was looking for clients social media for herself and her 19-year-old friend, born in Ternopil region. A criminal proceeding over pandering was initiated under Art. 302 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is creating or running brothels. This offense is punishable by a fine up to fifty non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or imprisonment for up to two years. A report under Art. 181-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, ie prostitution, was drawn up against the resident of Ternopil region. It is punishable by warning or a fine ranging from five to ten non-taxable minimum incomes.
