It was working only for a few years. Most of the time, it remained empty or filled with rainwater. ⠀
It is believed that the fountain engineering lines were damaged by workers reinforcing the underground rooms of the restaurant "Nad Uzhem". ⠀
The city authorities decided to move the fountain to the Bozdosh park. ⠀
Last time it worked was on May 1, 1973.
