January 20, at 14.00, in the lobby of the building of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, there will be a solemn opening of the exhibition of Uzhgorod club of philatelists, according to its head Mykola Dudnik, the second since independence.
The presentation will be dedicated to the Day of Unification and the 70th anniversary of Transcarpathian region as part of the Ukrainian state, therefore the exhibits will be related to this theme.
12 philatelists, including guest from Kyiv Oleksandr Kanivets, who is also a connoisseur of stamps on the history of Transcarpathia, will present their collections on 28 stands.
The event is supported by the RSA and the department of culture of the RSA and with the assistance of the Transcarpathian directorate of the "Ukrposhta".
The exhibition will last three days. At the closing, January 22, at 14.30, there will be a special cancellation of the new stamp to mark the Day of Unification of Ukraine.
