Uzhgorod Olympian has finally been honored: Herey received an apartment

As we announced, Anatoliy Herey – the best contemporary athlete of Transcarpathia – finally received his own apartment.

The Uzhgorod champion and Olympian, an outstanding fencler, was supported by the Transcarpathian Regional Council. Today at its meeting, Anatoliy Herey received the keys to the apartment in Uzhgorod purchased at the expense of the regional budget.

The athlete thanked Transcarpathians for their support, the officials thanked him for his achievement and wished him further victories.

Anatoliy Herey comes from the famous family of fencers, he is the world champion and the only Transcarpathian in Ukraine’s national team at the most recent Olympics.
