Uzhgorod officals won the second place at the international football tournament of twin cities

The traditional football tournament of twin cities was held yesterday in the Slovak city of Michalovce. The team of Uzhgorod City Council participated in it. 4 teams – from Uzhgorod, the Polish city of Jaroslaw, the Slovak cities of Michalovce and Liptovsky Mikulas – were competing. 
At the official opening, the Mayor of Michalovce William Zahorcak welcomed the teams, after which the competition started. Every team played with all other teams. 
As a result, Uzhgorod teams won second place behind the host of tournament – the team from Michalovce, the team from Liptovsky Mikulas won bronze medals, the team from Jaroslaw won the fourth place. 
After the football matches, the team representatives talked in a friendly atmosphere, discussed further cooperation between the cities in different industries.
