Uzhgorod National University will give Uzhgorod a concert dedicated to the Day of Knowledge with Alina Grosu and Rock-N

On Monday, September 2, UzhNU is conducting a series of events dedicated to the Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year.

From 7.00 to 9.30 there will be liturgies in Uzhgorod churches of various religious denominations.

At 10.00, all first-year students in the faculties and institutes will hear the introductory lecture on "The history and advancements of Uzhgorod National University."

At 13.00, in the hall of the Faculty of History of UzhNU (Narodna sq., 3) there will be the grand meeting of the faculty, staff and students of the university. In particular, the best freshmen of this year will make a solemn vow.

In the evening, at 19.00, on the square in front of the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater there will be gala concert. The following artist will perform: Alina Grosu (Kyiv), the group "Rock-H" (Mukachevo), the studio of contemporary dance "BLITZ" (Uzhgorod) and the KVN team of UzhNU "Tyap-Lyap" (Uzhgorod). Also they invited the People’s Artist of Ukraine Stepan Giga. After the concert, everyone can stay at the disco. The event will conclude with a solemn salute in honor of the holiday.
