The opening match of this year’s Football Championship of Ukraine was the match between "Kyiv Bandits" and "Uzhgorod Lumberjacks." The match took place in Kyiv, at the stadium "Spartak".
The intrigue of the match remained until the last minute. Falling 20 points behind during the game (38:19), in the last quarter our guys pulled out a victory! Uzhgorod team made an incredible comeback and scored the decisive touchdown 37 seconds to the end of the match! 39:38 in our favor, and the "Lumberjacks" go back to Uzhgorod with the first victory of the season.
