Uzhgorod judoists brought 9 various medals from Romani

On Saturday, June 8, an international judo tournament among children and veterans was held in the Romanian city of Satu Mare. 

Boys were competing in three age groups: born in 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2010. About 300 athletes from Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Ukraine took part in the competition.   

Uzhgorod was represented by 12 judoists under the guidance of the head coach V. Kaminsky, who managed to bring home 9 various medals: 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze.  

Champions of the tournament:  

Kaminsky Daniil – 24 kg  

Shtefanyak Artem – 34 kg  

Shtefanyak Yulia – 48 kg  

Silver medalists:  

Mikhtonyuk Stepan – 24 kg  

Subota Robert – 38 kg  

Kaminsky Andriy – 46 kg  

Bronze medalists:  

Platitsyn Yevhen – 46 kg  

Shtefko Oleksiy – 50 kg  

Subota Ivan – 60 kg  

Bilous Artur, Shtefko Oleksandr, Mishchenko Nazar won fifth places.
