Uzhgorod is waiting for the Parade of Embroidery (Announcement)

The celebration of Independence Day in the regional center of Transcarpathia continues.

It began at dawn, when Uzhgorod woke the whole Ukraine with singing. 

Then, the townspeople were pleased to attend the opening of the restored Uzhgorod children’s railway. 

These hours, the celebration is taking place in the Pidzamkovy park. To finish the day, a concert will take place in the city center preceded by the event, which can be quite spectucalar. Thus, the Parade of Embroidery is planned in the city. Here is the schedule of celebrations:

17.15 – Parade of Embroidery along the route: "Pidzamkovy" park – the vehicle bridge – Pravoslavna embankment – the pedestrian bridge – Teatralna Square. 18.30-21.30 – Concert "Ukraine above of all" (Teatralna Square). 21.30 – Fire Show (Teatralna Square).
